The Marbled Murrelet is world famous wildlife artist ROBERT BATEMAN’s first serigraph and uses 20 colors to create its calming ambience. The 1993 serigraph (silk screen) shows a marbled murrelet in winter plumage. These birds are nearly too small to be noticed on the sea swells of the broad ocean, but their presence is announced by their long, plaintive whistle.
Only 55 copies were produced in this serigraph edition. The soothing wave action in this image makes this a great over-the-couch piece of artwork for the outdoor enthusiast. “Marbled Murrelet” is sold out at the publisher and available only on the secondary market.
