SCOTT GUSTAFSON

Fairytale Treasures
for the Child in Each of Us

Most of us can say there are at least a few fairytales that still remain vividly etched on our consciousness. Scott Gustafson’s renditions of traditional fairytales work at two levels. For adults, he specializes in the therapeutic recall of childhood days and the pleasant memories that accompany that time of life. For children, his paintings open up new horizons for visualizing the characters they know so well at this very special time of life.
Many book publishers have entrusted Gustafson to illustrate anew classics such as “Peter Pan,” “The Nutcracker,” and “The Night Before Christmas.” The Illinois resident’s original books include “Alphabet Soup,” and “Animal Orchestra” which give children a creative introduction to the building blocks of education.

If such stories as “Alice in Wonderland,” “Old King Cole,” “The Owl and the Pussycat,” “Little Bo Peep,” or “Don Quixote” spark a magical memory for you (or you would like to have a child or grandchild have the same experience as you once did), Scott Gustafson has undoubtedly created a fine art print just for you. He not only produces limited edition prints of many classic fairytales, but his work has expanded into fine art porcelains, three- dimensional images of many of his characters.
