JAMES C. CHRISTENSEN FINE ART

Fine Art Prints: The World of Imagination

One of the world’s foremost fantasy artists, James Christensen blends wonderful myths, fables, and nursery rhymes with an imaginative artistic style to fashion stunning works of art. Christensen’s creations range from “The Oldest Angel” to “The Burden of the Responsible Man” to the Shakespearean “All The World’s A Stage” – and everything unimaginable in-between.
He studied painting at Brigham Young University, taught there for many years, and has recently retired from his alma mater to continue his art creation. Christensen’s work has received many awards from the World Science Fiction Convention and the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists. He has held one-man shows in the West and the Northeast and his work is found in many collections in the U.S. and Europe.

James Christensen’s character interpretations now include delicate fine art porcelains (many collectors display their porcelains in close proximity to the limited edition print from which it was adapted). A wider range of Christensen creations is found in his many illustrated books which provide hours of amusement and entertainment – and which make wonderful gifts.
