Richmond, Virginia artist Catherine Venable painted this piece to commemorate the Queen of England's visit to Virginia to celebrate Jamestown's 400th Anniversary. Each section of the quilt symbolically traces the state's history since that first landing. The Queen, Virginia's Governor, and other officials each have copies of this beautiful print.
