Americana art recalls by-gone days of turmoil and tranquility. Posters mobilized the country for war and advertised products, publications, or movies. Magazine cover paintings enticed readers to enter another realm. Vintage posters and magazine covers from The Art-cade capture the Golden Age of Illustration.

The Spirit of Americana is preserved through many works of art – even though they are not the original works of art. What makes these items collectible today is that their original publication was meant for immediate use only (part of yesterday’s throw-away society). Be it a patriotic war poster, a weekly magazine, or an advertisement, a few copies did somehow survive time. The Art-cade stocks a cross-section of these heirlooms for today’s discriminating art lovers and collectors.
