Anthologies, biographies, trends: the world of art you can take with you The Art-cade’s book corner celebrates artists and their works. These books, often not stocked in larger bookstores, cover a variety of subjects from anthologies to biographies to trends -- for your personal reference, pleasure, or exploration. And there’s not one “how-to” book to be found. The ability to view or readily compare the images produced by a favorite artist in one convenient, portable resource, or to learn more about the artist’s life, or to readily survey a vast collection of works by a cartoonist or painter is reserved to the printed book. Even if you want to investigate the world of Tolkien or the artwork for the movie “Titanic” or about the American space program, books offer easily accessible, fine permanent reproductions of some of your favorite artwork. From lavish coffee-table books to small paperbound volumes, the wonderful world of art is available to all who wish to enjoy it. The Art-cade is continuously offering additions to its book corner.
