1914 Advertising Suite

A set of 4 pen and ink drawings originally created for Liggett and Myers Tobacco Co. in 1914 for use in company advertising. Each piece is approximately 10 x 16 inches and has some age browning of the illustration board. Some correction paste-up elements also appear. Date stamp of December 14, 1914 appears on reverse.
The four scenes are (1) U.S. Capitol, (2) capitol at Richmond, Virginia, (3)a rural post office, and (4)a period public outdoor gathering. Each is signed by the artist. |
